01/09/08 - Train Crash

"We need to get off, though out the exit isn't the way. We need to cut a hole in the floor," said Alex upliftingly, trying to be the leader of the group.

Sergei looked up, and saw the dragons. "Oh shit!!" He yelled. "Dragons?! Just what I needed." He began to move away from the train, and away from the dragons. Now what the hell should I do?

Despite the students efforts, the flames cntinued to come..how long could they keep it up before it overtook them?

Elli saw Sergei walking away from the train a nd let out a peircing whistle. One of the creatures turned its head towards Elli then diverd to the ground. It landed infront of Sergei with a earth shaking impact.

Sergei walked a good distance away from the train. He paused and turned around. My god damn owl's still in there... But the cage wasn't locked, so he hopefully escaped.

katie turned to him "how bout just breaking the windows, much easier " she said walking in to the nearest compartment, she took her wand out, but nothing worked, she put it back in her pocket and kicked the window really hard instead, it crashed to the floor "works like a charm" she jumped out landing gracefullt on the ground

There were screams and people rushing around more than before, and being at the front, Heather wasn't sure why they were doing so. There was a rushing noise and crackling further down and Heather stopped to look back, leaving Malfoy to carry on his walk and questions.
"Holy friggin' Merlin!" her eyes widened in pure shock of all this. Someone knocked into her and she stumbled backwards, but quickly regained her balance by holding onto an open compartment. The fire was running fast up the walls of the train. "Oi! Malfoy you flaming idiot!" running up to him, pushing people out of her way. She grabbed his arm and yanked him by a window, keeping her eye on the fire. Letting go of Maloy's arm, Heather then grabbed someones bag as they rushed past and smashed the window, turning away as she did so.
"I'm not bloody wasting time, I wonna get off this blood train!" Luckly, the windows to the train were fairly large. She hit another piece of glass and carfully begain to make her way out.

Sadly a solution so simple as that could not work for the simple fact of the third creature still blowing fire onto the train from the outside
If they had managed to get past the heat they would be burned alive before they had a chance

Emma followed them out. The shock of it had left her and her tears were dried. Now she was just plain upset. Ok... she was scared a tiny bit.

*Alex and Emma enter a compartment. He then makes a hole in the floor using the 'Reducto' spell. He helps Emma down before dropping down himself. They make their way towards the woods, quietly, trying to avoid any attention. He was still holding her hand tightly.

A large gust of wind hammered down on her, and another after another. She paid no attention to it, thinking it was only wind from outside until a blast of fire from nowhere burst through a window to her left, glass smashing into the train and further screams. Heather screamed and looked up to see a large orange dragon. "THAT BLOODY EXPLAINS IT!" she cried in fright, trying to get back into the train. "I wanted to get out, now back in... Hectic, too hectic" to began talking to herself.

Sergei stood in silence, watching the train burn. Hopefully the dragons would leave after a while, and then he could go see if anyone survived.

ooc: We could break them, but we can't go directly outside as we'd get attacked my the dragons, so theres no difference.))

The dragon who had dropped infront of Sergei, blocking his path, let out a deep growl. Elli moved forward, lmping on her foot.
"Sergei? Howd you manage to get out?"
she asked first

{oh shit} katie thought seeing the dragons, she climbed back the window but fell through the whole alex had made, twisting her ankle, {where the hell did this come from}

technically if you broke the windows, you would have the fire drop down on you..so unless it was a blind person..someone wouldnt attempt because they would SEE they fire on the windows))

*Alex and Emma sneak into the woods. They don't stop moving until they have the trees as their cover. Once they have shelter and safety, he stops to take a breather. "Em..are you alright?," he asked kindly.

I could do with Malfoy since Heather is with him! Tanya is missing all this. I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WAS FIRE ONTO OF THE TRIAN or whereever its coming from. Too much confusion on this friggin' thread - for me))

"Same way you did, Elli... Now be quiet, or that dragons gonna eat me..." Thankfully, dragons can't see very well...

"Yes it very well might"
She stepped towards Sergei..and then past him to the dragon.
It lowered its head with another growl.
It opened its large mouth slowly, its 'magma drool' dripping onto the grass and burning it.
"You should have stayed on the t rain, sergei..."

"Um, no, then I would have gotten burned alive. I think my chances at survival are a little higher out here." He saw that Elli was somehow controlling the dragon. "It was...you who did this?!"

Elli smiled
"Some of it, yes..and i wasnt speaking of you surviving..death in the train would have been less painful...That train is about to explode.."
Elli didnt intend on letting everyone die..just enough.
But she had do do something quickly..or the plan would be ruined

she tried to run but her anlkle hurt {hmm} she thought, she transformed into her cheetah form, and ran to the nearby woods, evan with her twisted ankle she was very fast...

Sergei grinned for a second. "You evil bitch...I like it..." He paused for a moment. "But why? Who do you take your orders from? The Dark Prince?" He said the name with wonder, not resentment, like most other students.

*Alex heard a soft growling in the woods, though knew that they were far enough away from the dragons. Turning around, he saw a glance of yellow and black. The head of it rounded a tree, and he was a little perplexed. "That's a cheetah, which is very far from their habitat," said Alex softly to Emma.
