"It's a pleasure to meet you," Sergei said, extending his hand to Scorpius. "My names Sergei. Sokolov."

She sat down by the girl who seemed more chatty than the rest.

I am in my 6th year. And yes, strange. Your father visited mine just recently. They had a long chat about our recent trip to Russia...

"Us Slytherins aren't a very talkative lot, as you may have noticed." Sergei turned back to Scorpius. "Which cities did you visit?" He asked. He himself had also been on a trip to Russia, but that was the way he usually spent his summer.

"Um I haven't really met Slytherins I'm new." She admitted.

"So where are you from?" Asked Sergei.

Moscow, mostly. My parents went on a business trip, more or less... Things are not doing well here at Hogwarts...Rumors have it that Dark Lord had a child and this child is rising to power... Only this is no child anymore...
*turned to a new girl* We are not in the same year. And as Sergei said, we are not too talkative...

Elli listened quietly..not really wanting to talk

"I attended Durmstang. I'm British though." She sighed and turned to Scorpius. "Sorry didn't now."

"Durmstrang. Interesting place. Did you learn anything...dark?" Sergei asked.

"That the only thing you learn. " She rolled her eyes. "Why you not allowed to here?" She asked a little horrified.

"No, of course you aren't allowed to. But some people do it anyway..." Sergei said. He turned his attention to Lillian's appearance for the first time. Meh, not my type, he thought, but kinda cute...

"That totally sucks. At my school you could like hex each other for fun and not get dentention. " She sighed."So is the headmaster like a mugglelover?"

"He is. Which sometimes aggravates the hell out of me." Sergei shrugged. After a pause, he said, "You seem like you'd be perfect in Slytherin. Let's hope you get sorted into our noble House."

She smirked. "Hopefully. Ugh imagine being sorted into Gryffindor or Hufflepuff? I'd die. " She opened her book flipped through it. "So besides Slytherin is Ravenclaw second best? Is that where all the purebloods go after Slytherin? There aren't mud-bloods in Slytherin right?" She asked curiously.

"Yes, Ravenclaw is second best. Gryffindor is full of stupid 'brave' Dumbledore lovers, and Hufflepuff is just for losers who don't stand out in any way... Ravenclaw has some stuck-up students, but they're alright as a whole..." He sighed. The situation at school had always bothered him. "And no, there aren't any mud-bloods in Slytherin."

She snickered. "Seriously if I get put into Gryffindor or Hufflepuff I'll be tempted to burn down my common room. "
