Yule Ball -- 25 December 2008

Ashley joined him and said, "Yeah, I think you are. But I like a little biased." She smiled.

Michael smiled, and laid his hand on-top of hers. "I know that you are lovely in your dress here." He looked into her baby-blue eyes.

Ashley smiled again. "Thanks... took me ages to find the right one," she added. She was going to go into the whole thing... but knew that Michael was a guy and probably didnt' care to hear about it all -- even though he'd be too nice to stop her from rambling on about it.

"Well...the color is perfect for you," said Michael. He wasn't sure if she would go into the details of her looking for the right dress, though kept it simple since he is a guy. "Do you have anything you wish to do next, tonight?," he asked with a smile.

Ashley shok her head. "Nope... I absolutely had no plans except to get Riley to the dance because he was being a butt about it, but he came. And then we started dancing... so this night has gone completely away from any plans that I had," she said. "But in a really good way, of course."

"That sounds about what I had planned, as far as bringing Katy along. She feels the same way about Christmas as Riley, so they probably are talking somewhere. I've had a blast tonight. Would you like to dance some more?," Michael asks with a smile.

Andrew could tell that she was conflicted. "There isn't a rush, if you wish to think it over. It probably wasn't the best time of asking, on my part," he said, giving a weak smile. "I'd be up for another dance if you would care for another."

She shrugged. "I dunno. I think I should go to my room now..I have homework."She mumbled.

Andrew didn't know what to say. He then said, "alrighty. I'll see you around?," he asked with a tilt of his head.

"Yeah, let's dance some more," Ashley agreed standing up. "And hopefully they aren't just talking," she added with a mischievous smile.

Michael stands up, and walks with Ashley into the ballroom. "Precisely, My-Lady," he said with a smile. He twirls her around one way and then the other, as they make their way towards the dancefloor. "You are so pretty."

Ashley blushed slightly. "Thank you," she said wiht a smile. She should ge tused to his compliments... but apparently he still had the capability to make her blush.

Michael said, "you're welcome." He smiled at her blush, though didn't point it out. As they walked towards the dancefloor, he pulled a rose from a table they passed. He placed it over his ear, in a classy fashion, though Michael was enjoying the time of his life. Once at the dancefloor, he gave her a polite bow before offering her his left hand.

Ash smiled and took his hand and started dancing. SHe was having the time of her life!

Michael began to dance with Ashley. At one point of the song, he allowed her to gracefully to fall with his right hand supporting her at an angle. He then kissed her before bringing her back up, and resuming dancing.

Ashley had somehow smiled through the kiss, though was slightly surprised by the dip. But that was OK. "Aren't you.. oh damn... I forgot hte word. Oh! Spontanious!" Ashley replied with a chuckle.

((ANd yes.. .I probably spelled spontanious wrong... but you get the point. ))

Michael chuckled and then twirled her around one way and then another. "You mean you didn't expect that?," he smiled while he asked.

"Yeah," Ashley replied, laughing. She was just at a loss for words around him... and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not.

Michael began to laugh as she laughed. "You're good, Baby," he said with a smile. At that, a slow song came on. Michael placed his arms around her waist and held her close as he began to rock back and forth. "That music changed fast," he said with a chuckle.

"Sure did," she agreed, moving slightly closer to him as they dnced.

Michael listened and then said, "the music could stay like this for the rest of the night." He placed his head against hers. He rocked back and forth.

"Oh,I totally agree," she concurred. She loved the feeling of him being just that close to her. SHe smiled and ddn't want the song to end.

With the stars above, Michael rocked back and forth with Ashley...his head beside hers. How could it get any better?
