Katy smiled at Andrew and Michael
"Well..Im gonna leave you two boys to talk..ill be...around..kay?"
she said while standing up

Michael and Andrew nodded, though Michael said, "alrighty. Are you alright?," he asked. "Let me know if you need anything." Many danced around them on the dancefloor.

Ashely smiled at Riley. "Thanks.... and you look pretty good yoruself. I did a nice job getting your size, didn't I?" she joked, chuckling.

Riley half-smiled. "I'd say so," he replied. "And it always helps when I actually give you my size... so don't give yourself too much credit."

Ash smiled and shook her head. SHe looked around the Hall at all the decorations, dresses, and people. She saw her brother with Dragan... they were dancing (which surprised her) instead of making out... then she saw Michael. He looked damn fine tonight. She sighed. It was obvious to her that she still liked him... so what was keeping her from continuing things with him?

"Ok..have fun!"
KAty moved quickly from the crowded area, holding her breath when she got caught in a circle of people who were dancing like idiots.
KAty pressed her way through until she hit a nearly empty corner..and there she released the breath she hadnt realised she was still holding

Emma took his hand. "Princess... hmm... I could get used to that flattery." she said jokingly. Alex opened the door and they walked in. It was beautiful... the entire room looked like a christmas wonderland.

Riley moved to an empty table and sat down. "Ash... you alirght?" he asked as he followed her gaze. He smiled slightly "Go talk to him."

Ashley sat down next to Riley. "Why? it'd be disasterous. ANd besides, we're just friends."

"And that means you can't talk?" Riley asked sardonically. "Go talk to him. I never said dance or kiss or anything."

Ashley rolled her eyes. "I knwo you didn't say anything like that... but what if it leads to that adn I dont' want to?"

"Then you say no," Riley replied simply. "It's not that hard to say no, ASh."

"It obviously is when I get caught up in the moment," Ashley muttered.

"I thought we agreed to forget about that," Riley pointed out.

"Right... sorry," she replied. "I guess... no, you need company. I can talk to him later."

Michael watched Katy hurry from them, but caught Ashley's eyes, as she looked around. He then wasn't sure how she felt about him, though. Andrew looked around, though saw Michael's look. He then spoke to Michael, "do you like her?," to which Michael replied, "ya...I really do. Though I think I ruined everything with her...a slip of my tongue...I told her that I loved her. She was spooked after that." Andrew listened, and said, "well...I'm not the best with relationships, though if she cares about you then, she'll forgive you." Michael nodded and said, "I think she was looking at me, in a way that may show that she likes me." Andrew then said, "go talk to her...if she is a true friend, then you both will worth through this."

Alex smiled, and led he and her into the room. He held the door for her, and then they entered. "This is amazing...the decorations and everything. Where would you like to go first? Drinks? Dancefloor?," he asked.

Edward spotted Elli standing around and caught her eye. He motioned for her to join them and mouthed, "I want my dance."

Elli gave a small laugh
"I think ill meet up with you two later"
she said to Katie and Janelle. She blew them a kiss then made her way over to Edward
"Sorry, in advance, if i step on your foot..."
she mumbled as she took his hand

Right on cue the band began to play a slow ballad. "This one's Elli's but I'll see you around right Issy? Have fun and try not to trip too much," he smiled before walking over to meet Elli as she came onto the dance floor.

"I give you permission to step on my feet," said Edward lightly, offering her a hand and putting his other hand on her waist. They swayed gently on the spot, not really able to move much due to the number of people crammed onto the floor.

LMAO i just thought of bella's lullaby...haha)

Elli smiled
"Well thank you...i think...."
She swayed in place with him until the others that crowded around them moved....(hint hint..lol)

Slowly they began to move around the dance floor. Edward twirled Elli around and said, "Nice isn't it?"

AShley shook her head. "I'm going to sstay here with you. He's already talking to someone anyways..."

"But I'm sure he'll drop everything to talk to you, Ash," Riley pointed out.

Michael listened to Andrew, and then said, "how about...I'll go talk to her, if you'll find the courage to ask a girl to dance. Its quite fun," he added with a smile. Andrew was a little nervous to agree, since he had heard from others that Michael will talk to Ashley which would mean that he would need to ask a girl to dance. Andrew stammers a reply, "umm...uh...sure...we can go..." Michael smiles and says, "alrighty...I'll head over there now. I'll let you think about who you want to ask." Michael heads off towards Ashley's direction, though is not sure if she wants to talk to him. 'What if she doesn't want to see me?,' he asked himself, as he stands on the other side of the dance floor (closer side to Ashley and Riley).

Katy, who was apparently in the same empty corner as Riley and Ashley, saw Riley and Ashely talking and thought she'd say hello.
So she walked over and smiled
"Hey Ashley, Riley...oooh I LOVE your dress!"

"Hey Katy," Ash replied. "And tahnks... it took me awhile to find the right one... but I did eventually. And you look great yourself!"

Riley looked up and saw Katy. "Hey," he replied. "...and Ash... look who's coming over... just your opportunity. ANd you do look nice," he added, looking abck at Katy.

"Ehh..Old dress..i wasnt planning on comming tonight but thank you!"
she said to them both then turned and saw Michael
"And here comes my tourturer now" she was reffering to why she was here at he ball..
they need to talk..it'll do them both some good
"Hey Riley, you wanna go get a drink" she asked

Riley was slightly surprised. "Er... sure... and I wasn't planning on coming, either. But let's get a drink," he said.

"Michael forced you to come?" Ashley asked.

Andrew thought he saw Isabella over on the right side of the dancefloor. He stood up, and walked over. 'What do I say...um...I'll try to be calm...what if I freak?,' he thought to himself. Andrew walks over to Isabella, and asks, "hi Isabella...would...you...um...would you like...to...dance...What I mean to ask is would you like to dance?," he asked her, happy he got the sentence together in one phrase. Andrew then pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. He was afraid of being turned down, though it is good to try to do this.

"Well..he asked me to come as a friend...You should go talk to him..He thinks you hate him right now..and its definitely knocked him down a few pegs"
she smiled and gave her a nudge forward then walked with Riley towards the drinks

"You're trying to get them to talk, too?" Riley asked quietly as they walked through the crowd -- which Riley didn t'like at all.
