She watched him look back at his book "And a rude little... You just get better, don't you" she smirked, moving in her seat and sighed out of boredom. "Is it always like this?" her eyes drifted to the fire place, watching the flames dance uncontrollably.

Charles blinked *did she just compliment me?* he was confused he snapped his book shut and dropped it in his bag " yes it is people start fights over blood status and I read" he said plainly he gazed at her from the dark corner of the room thinking about how she would respond

Her head snapped back when he closed his book shut and smirked a little when he put it away. "Sorry, have I disturbed your reading time? You know there is a libaray in the school for book readers?"
Heather looked at him, he was mostly in the shade, and if she thought he didn't look hot, she'd be lying. However, she pushed it aside. "Fighting over blood status just gets old for me, I must say." she sighed and continued, remaining her eyes on his "If people keep going on about it, and I'll snap to be honest."

Heather looked at him, he was mostly in the shade, and if she thought he didn't look hot, she'd be lying. However, she pushed it aside. "your so funny" Charles said his voice thick with sarcasim "the library is to open and my kind of books arnt found there" Charles smirked

Heather smiled with slight annoyance "You've misunderstood me... Whats you name? I merely meant you can go and read your book in the library. I didn't say anything about borrowing the library's books"
She paused and spoke again "What are you reading then? You say the library wouldn't have your kind of books, it must be a Muggle book?" her eyes looked at his book bag before looking back at him.

" And you misunderstand me Heather Jane Wattson the library is to open I like small places, dark corners in fire light...not much else to do so reading keeps me occupied ...oh my name Charles Hodder ... Yes it is a muggle book a graphic novel to be correct" charles finished no one else could hear the two Charles had set up a few silenceing charms when she started talking it he found it good that silent casting came naturally to him made 6th year not as troubling

"And, Charles, you never said you like dark, small spaces - which I somewhat don't blame you - and seeing as you're hiding in a dark corner now, I can see that you do."
Heather stopped, thinking what a graphic novel was. "Pardon me, but what is a graphic novel?" her voice changed to a polite manner. She noticed that no-one else was paying attention to anything they were saying. Usually people would look around, but no-one did.

" Oh we havent met...I just pay attention to things when im not reading" his smirk still present " and a graphic novel is a book with detailed pictures like a comix book but bigger they are geared towards older readers 17-40 mostly" Charles said " its called ANGEL its about a Vampire that has a soul saving the world from demons" he said tossing the first book in her direction

Heather smirked and looked away, back at the fire "I should pay attention more often than I do, maybe I'll learn something more interesting." Her eyes drifted back to him and she caught the book after he spoke about it.
"Vampires?" she looked at the cover at a good looking guy on the front. She opened the book at a random page, looking down at the little pictures. She read a couple of the boxes, getting a little lost. "I don't get it... How do you read it?" her eyes looked up at him, feeling a little stupid and she flicked to another page. "They're all like this, I guess?"

"oh yes they are ... you read like anyother book left to right" Charles chuckled

"Left to right" she said to herself quietly, looking down at the page to read it. Of course she got a little lost at what they were saying as she was on the middle page.
Heather chuckled a little, "I'm lost in what they're saying..." she looked back at him, closing the book. "I should give it back to you now, otherwise you'll be bored."

Charles Chuckled " No no you keep it I keep a set for travel and for home use so read it" he said getting up he headed for the door he was in the mood for a snack

Heather looked back down at the graphic novel "Thank you," she said flicking the pages and looked back up at him as he got up and walked. "Where you going?"

" Kitchen & your welcome" Charles muttered as he took down the spells without a word

Heather nodded "Enjoy," she spoke and looked at the novel once again "Angel: The Hollower", where she then opened it to it's very first page to the story. She moved in her chair so that her legs were crossed and she brushed back a piece of her black hair that fell over her face as she looked down.
"A vampire is, in essence, a human corpse with a demon inside" read the first box, with a man wear all black killing what must have been a vampire on a spike. Heather continued to read, and it wasn't all tat hard to understand.
As she pressed on, she did however find boring bits, lack of detail in the words, but she was beginning to enjoy this graphic novel as it was called.

Charles came back from kitchens with a yellow apple in hand he took a bite out of it he entered the room again and returned to his corner

Been reading them for long?" she asked and moved in her seat.
"Why do you sit in the dark?" she asked blankly. "Are you that shy?" she smirked a little, lowing her head to the book again.

Charles shook his head " No im not shy im an introvert I keep to myself and observe the things around me when I speak my words have meaning and are well thought out" Charles finished a small smirk on his lips

Heather sat back in her chair and pulled up her sleeves. "Not bad. Observing is a plus, it can be useful. People not knowing you're there, or listening - its all counts" she smirked and placed the graphic novel on the table next to her. "I'm like that, though, I'm more out there as it were. I don't hide, unless I have to" she smiled a crooked smile and her eyes glanced at him.
"Would you say you're organised as well?" she asked, at when he mentioned his words are thought out.

Charles face cracked into a smile " yes I would say that " he moved forward in his seat so the light hit his face " I have to be wonder why no one looks at us " he smirked as he said it

Heather smiled as he leaned forwards and she titled her head to the side a little. "At least you're not a mess - Organisation is key."
"Why no-one looks at us? Sorry, you lost me..." she crinkled her noise, all of a sudden being a little shy. Her eyes looked over at the fire, but looked back at him and his piercing eyes.

"Why do you do that?" she asked, the only thing coming to her head.
"Are you paranoid or something? Don't trust people?" a couple of things blurted out, hoping he understood her through her Irish accent.
