Ashley chuckled. "I can attempt to twirl you, but it ought to be amusing since you are a bit taller than me...so crouch down," she said that all before he lifted her up and brought her down. She smiled again. This was going better than she could have imagined!

Emma smiled and bit her lip nervously as she twirled. When she came back in and he stopped her she looked up at him smiling. "I liked it. Twirlings... fun." She giggled again her fingers lightly brushing her hair to make sure it was still in place.

Michael smiled and said, "let's try." He crouched down, so that he might be low enough, and waited for Ash.

Ashley laughed and stood on her tippy-toes to help the spin and then attempted to spin Michael. When he did a complete circle she laughed again. "That probably didn't look as good as mine... but you did look cute all crouched down."

Alex smiled, and said, "you're lovely, whether twirling or not. Your dress spins in a nice shade of color when you are twirled. We can try a new move if you want...its a twirl and a lifting move." He wanted to ask before trying it, though he wouldn't let anything badly happen to Emma.

Michael laughed, "I must look like a dwarf version of myself." He smiled as he tried to bow, still crouched down. Instead, he rolled over, onto the ground.

Andrew could tell she was blushing, and hoped that it was normal for this to happen. He thought that Michael would know if this would be typical. Andrew began to dance, but bumped into a dancing couple, and then he said, "sorry about that," to the couple that he bumped into. His cheeks became rosy as he said to Isabella, "sometimes I can be a little clumsy." He gave a small chuckle.

"You're way better than me."She laughed. "I run into everything like one thing per 5 minutes. It's horrible."

Andrew smiled, and said, "you're a good dancer too." He continued dancing, and then tried to twirl Isabella, which was a little slower twirling than normal though he twirled her around. Andrew was enjoying himself more than he thought he would. He smiled.

Ashley laughed. "What the bloody hell are you doing?" she asked, still laughing and with a playful smile on her lips.

Michael then was laying on the dancefloor, looking up towards Ashley. He chuckled, "well...I tried to bow, though while I was crouching on the floor...it didn't work as I had hoped, and you know, you look even prettier with me looking upward...your face shown against the colors of the ceiling." Michael tilted his head, and smiled.

Isbella turned red again."Sorry I'm so slow."She mumbled.

Andrew continued with the simple dance...not wanting to push his skills, that could cause both to fall down. "It is alright, though you're not slow." He then smiles, as he sees her turn red. Is this normal?, he asks himself.

Ashley laughed lightly. "I guess it didn't," she replied, indicating his bow-crouch disaster. She just smiled at his compliment and held out her hand. "At least let me help you up."

Michael smiled, and allowed Ashley to help him up. He wasn't sure what exactly he should do next...should he say something...should he dance?...he didn't know what to do. He caught Ashley's baby blue eyes, and became lost or stunned.

Ashley smiled again. She looked away from him for a moment, and then stared into his eyes. "I'm sorry," she said quietly. "It was stupid of me to overreact like that... you have more a reason to be pissed at me than me at you..."

Michael placed his arms around Ashley, giving her a hug and said gently, "its alright, Ash. I couldn't stay mad at you, then...and I'm not mad at you now." Thank you Riley and Katy...where-ever you are sitting, he thought to himself.

Ashley smiled and pulled back slightly, though she was still in his arms. "So start where we were and act like the past few weeks never happened?" she suggested with a chuckle.

Michael smiled and said with a chuckle, "I would go with my heart on this one, and I'm afraid that my Heart is with the lovely young lady with Baby-blue eyes that is standing right in front of me." He gently graced Ashley's cheek with his right forefinger, pulling a few dangling hairs out of her eyes.

Ashley smiled happily. She definitely loved this ball. She even hoped that Riley and Katy were hitting it off -- though she'd never, ever say anything to Riley about it. She hugged Michael again. "You're amazing," she whispered in his ear, a smile still on her lips.

Michael hugged Ashley and whispered in her ear in reply, "as you are, My-Dear." He didn't care what the rhythm of the music was...he just began to rock back and forth as they were embraced on the dancefloor.

Ashley was in bliss. This was utterly amazing. She had her man back and she was dancing with him... they were both looking shockingly gorgeous tonight (yes, she is a bit conceded, she admits it). She never, ever wanted the night to end.

Michael continued the gentle embrace, rocking back and forth to the music, even though the beat of the music didn't fit their steps. It didn't matter. Nothing else mattered, except that he was dancing with the loveliest lady of the Yule Ball.

After a few more minutes, Ashely asked, "Wanna get some drinks or something? I'm kinda thirsty." She laughed, loving how her thirst had to ruin the moment.

Michael pulled back and said, "sure. Let's go get something." He smiled as he walked with her towards the drink and snack table, holding her left hand in his right hand. He gives it a gentle squeeze as they neared the edge of the dance-floor.

Once at the table, Ashley grabbed a butterbeer for herself and then asked, "Want one?" She didn't take a drink of the one in her hand, ready to give it to him if he wanted it.
